Mark Denavit, student on NEESR-II project, wins AISC Fellowship


Mark Denavit, a first-year graduate student in structural engineering at the University of Illinois working with Prof. Jerome Hajjar on a NEESR-II research project, has been awarded the AISC/Associated Steel Erectors of Chicago Fellowship for 2007. The fellowship was awarded to assist Mark with his research on the project entitled "System Behavior Factors for Composite and Mixed Structural Systems," which is being conducted jointly with Prof. Roberto Leon at Georgia Institute of Technology. Congratulations to Mark!
